THERE'S WILD THEN THERE'S YOU by M. Leighton #review

There's Wild, Then There's You

 He’s someone she can’t trust…
She’s someone he thinks he knows…
Violet Wilson is a wallflower. Shy, serious, and accident-prone, she’s got a bad habit of being in the wrong place at the wrong time. The night she’s forced to pose with her friend might just be the worst time of all—that’s when she meets Jet Blevins. She knows better than to get involved with someone like him, but he touches her in ways she never expected, neverwanted before. On the outside, Jet is a typical rocker, an arrogant lead guitarist who unapologetically lives a wild lifestyle. But on the inside, he’s battling demons and using the stage to escape the troubles of his past and the addictions of his present. Until the night he sees Violet standing at the back of the room. She brings his life into focus. She knows his secrets. She’s the girl he can’t forget, and the one thing he craves more than his addiction. But can they ever hope to have a future when their very foundation is nothing but lies?

HOLY FREAKIN MOLY!!!! M. Leighton has rocked my world with her latest installment in the Wild Ones series.  Each book has introduced us to new and amazing characters that have easily captured our hearts.
So, now we get to meet the spunky Violet, who has a huge heart of gold.  She is freakishly loyal and will go above and beyond to help a friend in need.  So much so that this is what sparks the interaction of her and the fabulously HOT Jet...
When Violet first meets Jet, M. Leighton shows her brilliance in detailing the interchange of these two by bringing the reader in and connecting you to their lives.  You fall in to Jet's gorgeous blue eyes right along with Violet, feeling that spark of chemistry, electrifying the area around them.
Needless to say, the story showcases the marvelous writing talent that M. Leighton has.  Being able to seize the reader's attention, draw them in to the scenes, captivate them with the emotional stresses of the beautiful romance unfolding on these pages.
There's Wild then There's You is a fantastical tale encased with humor, angst, passion, heart-ache and revelations.  I loved every single moment and hated to see it end.  I was head over heels in love with Jet and was holding my breath when the story took a turn for the worst.  I was shaking my head in disbelief, angry that it happened and just over all depressed.
But, true to the romance, M. Leighton brings our characters from point A to point Z.  What good is a book if the characters didn't grow and discover themselves throughout this riveting journey that we get to hitch a ride on with them??

*sighs* Yes, I miss these characters so much...I saw many things of myself in Violet and no matter how strong she is, she still has her weaknesses...Don't you want to find out what they are???
I bet you do...And I bet you want to know more about Jet too...If you love a guy that finds himself in the music that he sings and writes, then you will want to meet Jet...This man is beyond perfection...Sexy barely describes how delicious he is...Putty in his hands is all you will ever be, because this man will totally annihilate your self control...

If you do anything today...Make sure you pick up this book and find out just how ABSOLUTELY BREATHTAKINGLY ASTOUNDING it is....
